Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCIEN JOSEPH RONDEAU Peacefully, on Sunday, May 16, 2004 with his loving wife, Katherine, at his bedside after a battle with Alzheimers, our beloved husband and father, Lucien Rondeau passed away at age 80, when he entered into rest with our Saviour. Lucien was born October 27, 1923 in Fisher Branch, MB. On April 30, 1949 Lucien married Katherine Burak in Winnipeg. Dad was passionate in life about his family, friends and his love for playing his guitar. Lucien will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Katherine and his five sons, Larry (Diana), Garry (Barbara) of Oakbank, MB, Terry (Lorna), Randy (Lorie), Lenny (Laurie), all of Winnipeg; his brother Roland of Calgary AB; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends in Winnipeg and Canada. Dad was also a beloved grandfather to 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers, David, Armand and Eric; and his sisters, Elise, Armande and Germaine. Prayers will be offered on Wednesday evening, May 19 between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Funeral service to follow on Thursday, May 20, at 2:00 p.m. also at the chapel. Interment at Sunnyside Cemetery. In memory of Lucien, if desired, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba. Pride is a special feeling That is so often shared By those who have a father, Who had listened, loved and cared. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
